Merc 525 more hp?

Merc 525 more hp?
It there anyone out there that has performance bolt ons for the 525? It seems that there aren't many things out on the market for them at the present time do any of you know of things to do or programers to buy etc.

That engine is so tweaked already, and already producing close to 545 cshp in some cases; in its stock form, personally, if I owned one, I think I would leave it be. I think anything else you could do to it, would be detrimental to its reliability. Whipple may be a nice option, but you definately have to upgrade the closed cooling system too, as that has been a thorn of that engine.

My buddy has been thinking of whipples on it but a project for next year he said. Looking for just simple bolt ons and I have not found anything.

Coming from a dentist! I say pump it full of Nitrous!!!!!!! YEEE HAAA!! Got a buddy w/ trip. 525's in a 47 beaker that I am sure would like to know of some easy bolt on HP. Good luck, Wrink
