LIOPA to start planning runs for 2005
 

Looks like 2005 season could be the best yet! All you guys on Cheetahs thread should get involved. Our runs aren't huge but we always have a good time! Should be having our first meeting around March 24 and first run around thid week in May. If you enjoyed the ribbing on Cheetahs thread you'll fit right in! Basically boating and ball busting! :drink:

Eating has NEVER been an issue with us so I think we can keep it the same this year and keep you in charge! :D

Do you guys have most of your runs on the North Shore or the South Shore? I have my boat docked in Oceanside near Island park. I would love to make some of your runs this summer. Do you guys make any trips to Patty's in Island Park or Braco's in Freeport? I am there almost every weekend...........John

Thanks Don....I have checked out the site before I wasn't sure if you did anymore runs then those listed. Keep me posted on the meetings...I would like to possibly do a run into NYC for this years Poker Run and maby the Heckscher run too.

Hi John I am in the proccess of updating the site as I write this.

Yes we add runs all the time to the event page. Some are small get togethers as well and might not be posted but most are. Our first meeting for the season will be on Thursday...March 24 @ 7:00 PM.
The meeting will be held at
805 Middle Country Road, St. James, NY 11780.
You can call 631-724-8707 for info and directions if needed.

Tripps -- That is the same weekend as GLH's Milk Run on Lake Champlain in Vermont. Most of us from the LIOPA are going to travel up there for the weekend. You guys should check it out? If we get enough people from LOng Island we could have some fun. I believe that at least 5 boats will be trailering up to Vermont on Friday of that weekend.
