The rocker's the reason its out of the water the way it is.

i guess u can think about it either way. it allows the stern of the boat in a sense to sit back, but, at the same, lifts the rest of hull/running surface out. Think about how Hook makes a boat run flatter almost pitching the nose down. A boat w/ rocker will obviously run w/ more bow lift than a boat conventional bottom will = slighty less wetted running surface = more speed = KILO RECORD.

Rumor has it Benny wont drive the fountain .like an eggshell he keeps making the same boat faster.OL sell them,makes the next one faster.

Does anyone have any guesses on who's going to be the fastest? Any estimates on speed?

I always thought that having rocker on a step bottom/speed master boat isn't very good.

jest once you are right it is and improvmnt over the old bottom . 30 spec you need to go to fountain thier is no built in rocker in a fountain . as for unstable no in this life time, that boat was on rails at 177. i and a lot of 0so people were standing on the dock watching it robbie

I still haven't seen any video of ANY Outerlimits at any speed over 140mph.

Actually, anything over 100mph would be a start.
Not a slam on OL or anything, I just haven't seen it. I am hoping someone will post a video of an OL running FAST. . . . I have seen the Fountain boat running FAST - pretty impressive.

For every step in the bottom creates the effect of a rocker. Last I looked, Fountain doesn't run a conventional straight vee without any steps....
That being said, the rocker is built in... ____-------
