I did the same exact thing your doing last winter at about the same time. Refreshed the engines and boosted them up a bit, cleaned the bilge, added hydraulic steering, etc. It was a lot of work, then I had trouble with the engines all summer. Only ran the boat about 18 hours total, and missed the NYC Poker Run. A bearing went and I had hardly any oil pressure in the left engine...pulled the motor back out and sent it back (warranty). Now were just putting them back in, but I am definately keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck to you...I love that boat.

got a deal on a piece of stainless for my steering bracket. i only needed a piece 6x11x1/2" i found a cut piece 6x44x1/2" and they wanted $88 for it and a minumin of $20 to cut it. i ended up with it for $40 cash
