i boat on the connecticut river and encounter alot of kayakers and sailboats (under power at 5mph cause theres no wind) i love cranking by with the 500 singing thru lightnings, their"disgusted look" is priceless.

When I first got my boat I took a few friends out for the day. My closest friend offered to pay for the gas. I said no don't worry about it, just pay for the food and bar tab if you really wanna help out. He said "i'm not paying for the food AND bar tab. I said ok, pay for the gas...its only $400. The look on his face was priceless.
Whenever I'm pulled up to another boat like mine, people always ask...is your boat faster than that one?
It could be a brand new outerlimits with twin 1000hp and if I said yes...they would absolutely believe me, I just laugh.

oh yeah...my boat is a 1986 Scarab III, that might help the outerlimits part.
Condor...I am on the CT River also. I always fly by Kayakers...there are so many of them. I agree, nothing beats the look on their faces. I also cruise by the middletown womens crew team down by harbor park...I could go on for hours about that one.

I have a 357 Formula, Sitting at the pumps, a guy asked me how fast... I say upper 60's... No way, It must go faster that that....I say, that's only on one engine!

Is that a C-gar or Cigarette boat????????? How fast is it? How much power does it have??? What does it cost????
I love when every one is spazin out about the boat and usually there is a kid and I tell him to go and ask his mom if I can take him for a ride then i make a quick blast and take him back. It is a good time for the kid.
