I do have to say, here in Michigan, all inland waters and all waters within one mile of shore on the Great Lakes have a speed limit of 55 mph. BUT, it is rarely enforced and even when it is, few tickets are handed out. So, that being said, I'd be willing to bet that at some point there will be a speed limit on Winnie. But I think 45 is way to low... 55 would be a little better, but given the size of the lake, I'd think something like 65 would be more in line.

Why dont they just teach people the rules of boating and then there would be fewer accidents........

Imposing speed limits is not going to prevent accidents or people that dont know anything about boating fromm buying a boat.

I think that when you first register, "the Donald" has to put you into their system. I think it was like 24 hours when I first registered before I could post.
