What diameter and who's tailpipes are you running this through?
What kind of horsepower output are we talking?

I recently replaced my Corsa mufflers with GGB Extremes. These things work!! And they sound great!
I picked up 100rpm over the Corsa's.
One interesting thing is that the Extremes get more quiet the more water you push through them.
With my crossover, without a thermostat, I measured 84db.
With the thermostat installed and a pressure regulator, it now measures 89db. There is a huge difference in water flow between running the thermostat and not. Also, when the thermostat opens now, the mufflers get noticeably quieter, and measure 87db.
Interestingly, there is zero performance difference with differing amounts of water running through them.
I love em!!

Graham,
Thanks for making up the long set for me. We're making up the spacers this week so I hope to have them mounted on Monday. I'll post up some pics when they're on.
These pipes look great and all reports so far are good. They are pretty beefy and don't have any "bits" that will burn out, blow out, etc. The noise Nazi's are out in force on the lakes here in Ca and are turning people away at the ramp so you guys are going to need to do something to quiet it down this year.

Kent,
What distance away from the boat are you getting those dB numbers at?

Phantom,
You should come in anywhere from 88-90 dB(A) measured at idle 39" back and 39" up above the transom.
The best part - Zero power loss! Gauranteed!
Give one of our dealers a call to get the low down.

No problem, show us some pics when you get them installed. As far as the noise nazi's go, no problem there either!

I have the GGB clamp ons ... (750 Cobra's / Stellings) and they work awesome. I think it is important to route the water from the Stelling stinger out of the muffler. I took the flappers off the GGB's and placed a 4 inch extension tube on the stingers so that the exhaust is dry all the way to the end of the clamp-ons. I did not want any water bouncing back up the headers. Call me paranoid!!! The boat now sounds great and is quiet enough at the docks...
