I've not yet had the proper conditions to get good top-end numbers. I have noticed two things: the engine has a louder, deeper rumble (good) and mid-range acceleration, especially around 4,000 rpm, is noticeably improved (very good). I'll post more when I can get some good WOT numbers. The extra mid-range punch alone is worth the effort.

Still interested in any op-check results on the removal of the turbulators....
Most of what has been said (and that's very little) sounds like it definitely makes the HO a little louder; and possibly 100 rpm more....?
Any other debriefs...?

I posted on another thread about this but I'll say it here too. I took mine out and was not impressed. I think I lost a little torque and my hole-shot suffered. Mine are going back in.

Well now that's interesting. I wonder what it is about opening the exhaust orifice another inch in diameter that would cause a diminish in performance? Because isn't it essentially the same as putting a set of headers on to help the engine breath better?
Anyone else...?

You would think though that providing the exhaust path an extra inch diameter (3" to 4") to improve exhaust gas flow would make a positive difference...?
I'm kinda waiting until i find a polishing place to take the paint off and polish the risers while I have them off. I only wanna take'em off once....
