Gaffrig 80mph speedo shows 85++.
GPS is 78.

Overall GPS is a much more accurate way to go. If you are in an area with some tidal speed then you need to run with and against the tide for an average as gps is speed over ground. If you have Livorsi actually take your water speedo and specifically calibrate it at a certain speed range I think you will find it can be very accurate. However, they seem to change after a couple years and need to go back. I use the spring loaded deal and I still bend pickups. Personally, I like the water speedo as it is instantaneous but then I also look at the GPS just to be sure.
