This may be a stupid question but how accurate have you found Gaffrig speedometers to be? Some people have told me they are pretty close to there GPS readings. I was just trying to see what others have found.

Mine is right on up to about 50, then it gains a couple by top end, mid 70's.
Speedos are nothing but a pressure gauge. The quality supply of water, or lack of, to the pick up will have major effect to the accuracy of the gauge.

they are pretty accurate in the mid range but not at slow speed ot top end. If you plan on doing any bragging you better have a GPS speed and preferbaly a picture using the tattle tale

Mine is good to 90 then the pickup is out of the water.
Now as far as the other gages . fuel pres, oil pres. there off

My water pressure speedo (Eliminator gauge) which I believe is Gaffrig, never worked worth a dam on the Daytona. I think with the high X dimension that the pick-up on the drive is getting too much air to be the least bit accurate. It always read about 25-30 mph slow...
US1 Fountain said it right about the quality of water supply to the pick-up.

On my Bullet, the speedo is dead on until 60 mph, then it exagerate's like it's been drinking all day!!! About 4 mph over gps readings at top end.

My speedo reads 80 at gps speed 73. I love it
spot on at 50. I just keep the gps speed readout in a small corner of my Garmin. Very useful for finding optimum trim setting.
