What ignition are you running? plus, what ehaust are you running? When I build that type of engine I usually run 34 degrees total at 4000 RPM. If I think the customer is going to possibly get 89 or less fuel out on the water, I'll turn it back to a moderate 31 to 32 degrees. Dont need any melt downs !!
