Yep , relatively small ports to handle 540 CI NA at a max of 5200. This combo gives you an optimal port velocity for an cylinder charge and a torque monster. You could also use them on a 502 that you were going to spin a little harder .

They're canted the same as the exhaust valves
with 9.3 to 1 I almost could but the boost wouls be SO low it would hardly be worth it. Besides , these were designed with 89 octane in mind because that's available most places

12 pulls later , jet in , jet out , timing up , timing back here's the results
637 hp @ 5400 and 679 ft lbs torque@4500

Nice F L A T torque (you almost can't call it a curve!)
I know you built it as a N/A motor but, I'd love to see a mild supercharger set up on it, that thing would be in diesel territory
