OK...I'll look into that. Question though....if you have a leaky injector would that cause the fuel pressure to drop when the engines not running???

Surge is from over rich idle conditions

One should always look at the simple things first....I guess.

It turns out the distributor had moved and the timing was out by a couple of degrees causing the motor to surge. Re timed motor @12' base timing and I'm dilemma free.

Thanks for everyones input it was GREATLY appreciated.

I wasn't aware B&M made a blower that bolts on the stock lower intake of a 502 mpi,thats coool,glad you found the problem,Smitty
