that was 70's and 80's..how about when they completely redesigned them in 89'........just curious......I used to have an 86" 23 ft nova xl...your right..great boat, although i had delamination probs with it.......fortunantly i sold it....the owner before me left it in the water all the time...........................this is why i'm paranoid about leaving my newer wellcraft in the water..................i love wellcrafts, but i've also heard the downs of them............


would leaving it in the water no more than 2 weeks hurt anything.....

don't they design them to stay in water.?...............i know ..wood core......

most pwer boaters keep them out of water....wonder why?, performance, or design issues do to all that weight in the back....

A couple weeks in is not a big deal....a season or two is another thing. If the bottom gets a "beard" of growth on it the boat will slow down.
