Question Another Guage Question

I'm switching out the guages on my Nordic Rage. I've replaced the GrafrigII by Livorsi with the Autometer ProComp marine series. The new trim guage is specifically for mercruiser yet it turns out I'll need to do some adjustments. The GafrigII lists an ohm range of 10-90 and the Autometer lists an ohm range of 0-90. My lake test last night showed the guage was only working on about half the scale, from the 1/4 mark to the 3/4 mark. The trim button in the throttle handle would trim the drive all the way down physically, the guage would only go down to the 1/4 mark. The throttle handle trim button would only bring it part way back up, to the 3/4 mark, and the it would stop. I used to be able to trim the drive up all the way to the trailer position with the button. I had to use the drive trailering toggle switch to get it the rest of the way up.

I've assuming I'll need to adjust the trim sender on the drive and I'm looking for any advice on this before I give it a try.

Thanks for anyone's help!
