I then got towed into my slip!
it was about 9pm so ill see whats up 2morrow

sorry to hear that man!! Sometimes it happens. Dont get too discouraged, it is part of boating sometimes. If I gave up everytime I hurt something.. I would have quit 30yrs ago... But I am still here trying to figure it all out.. LOL!!

I agree with CMG. Mine will make a knocking noise if the drive is trimmed all the way up and put into gear. try running it on the hose in the yard. and trim the drive as far down as you can and put it in gear to see if it is still making the noise.

Bummer! hope you get it sorted out soon.
Just to add to the clunking issue in general. Not that it would help in this case, but the spline coupler not having greese will also tend to make a clunking noise.
