Livorsi's guages used to named and sold as "Gaffrig Precision Instruments" and were manufactured by Livorsi Marine Inc.
As far as who actually makes them, I don't know.

The other brand was/still is called "Gaffrig Performance" and the overall concensus is that they not as good as the Livorsi guages.

I agree with that, Livorsi is THE top of the line, period. Gaffrig seems to be a good value for the money though. The Livorsi stuff is made by Autometer, don't let any tell you different, they are just a little bit different, they have a patent on the u/v protected indicator and they are completely water tight (supposedly). I think there specs are a little better than Autometer's. I heard they weren't too happy when Autometer decided to offer marine gauges for Rex Marine or Eddie Marine. I think everyone in that industry has been battling back and forth over products and distributorship's.

You can always get Livorsi Products at www.Livorsi.com. or call for our new 180 page FREE COLOR CATALOG

These are the same gauges and throttles that have been standard equipment in Cigarettes, Bajas, Formulas, Donzis, Fountians, Outer Limits and Nortechs and many others for the LAST 18 YEARS.
