Default Exessive steam

Sucked up some milfoil this past weekend
Went home and flushed every hose on both motors

Went back out that night and noticed more steam coming from the port motor then the starboard.
Anyone tell me why?

I did notice that my exhaust risers are warmer on that motor.
How can I flush out my risers?
Is that star plug removable?
Thinking I would have to reverse flush them.

Are you sure your impeller is good in the port motor. If it was replaced were there any pieces at the intake to the oil cooler?

Impellar was fine
all hoses were back flushed extensivly.
With the exception of the exhaust riders. Not sure how to back flsuh these. But was able to have water flow out the tips flushing in the normal flow.

I assume water temps were normal, so stuck t-stat not likely?

you back flushed from raw water pump out through outdrive?

1 1/4" armored hose.

The mercruiser t-stat housing can corrode and restrict water flow as can the exhaust at the water inlets.

temps normal
back flushed ALL hoses
new thermostates as of this May. So no corrosion there.
Am worried about partial blockage in the risers however.
