Default 24' Liberator cat.......Looking for info.

Does anyone know anything about, or have any first hand experience with these 24' Liberator cats? I don't expect them to be that of a Skater, but are they built well? How are the interiors....etc?? I've done a Google search and there is virtually zero information on these boats. Thanks in advance.

I personally don't think highly of any manufacturer that is trying to make a direct splash of their competitor's boat while under cutting them on price.

I agree 100%. And I highly doubt the quality is up to Skater standards, hence the much lower sticker price. That said, since the Skater 24 is no longer available (new), then this would be a substitute for some to consider.

Just looking to dig up a little info, that's all.

Actually Skater will make you a 24'. Go to www.screamandfly.com and ask this same question. There will be far more replys from the outboard crowd. I have heard pro and con on those boats.

I do know that Skater will build a new 24. It just has to be for the right customer. When I was going through the plant several years ago they were actively laying one up as we watched. That boat was for a "special" customer. I wonder how many boats you need to buy before you become a "special" customer? I know for certain, that I will never be one.

My question is how does a company splash a boat? Do they get a hold of one and make a mold from the finished product? I have heard of molds being sold and then the boats being re-produced by someone else. To me it is OK if old molds are purchased and then re-used.
