UPDATE: Thanks for all the input serious and funny . SeaRay has decided to give me a new boat took 3 others out had no proplems boat tops out about 51mph with no porpose.

The shingle most important thing here is that Sea Ray stepped up to the plate and replaced the boat.
What I was wondering was what kind of roofing nails they used. Do you need stainless nails if you are in salt water or would good old galvanized nails do the trick to hold on the shingles seeing as they gel coated over the heads afterwords. ?
