Pete and his guys at Wheeler seem to be very good people. They do a fair amount of Drag Race stuff. He advertizes in National Dragster a bunch. They buy a fair amount of parts, and we don't ever have any issues with them.

I am glad this Thread came up .. I am in Jacksonville and have been looking for a shop ... One question would be would it be ok to use a shop like this that does mostly Automobile motors or do you need to find a "marine" only shop ? m

Wheeler apparently does marine engines. Any have any Wheeler Engines? The boat I am looking at has 454s bored to 496, Canfield heads hyd lifters, 850 carbs and are dynoed at 525hp.
