I think Bob Eubanks of "Twisted Styx" added boxes to a 38 Scarab several years a go before he got into the Phantom. Might try tracking him down to see what his results were.

There is a 87 KV for sale iat a dealership in Michigan that has boxes and SSM IV's on it.
