How much oil in a Whipple??
#11
i get mine from the remote filter after the filter, then i drain it back all the way to the pan i had some extra plugs in my pan i could put it in. you can pull a valve cover and drill and tap a place in to it, i did this the first year and it worked fine. i ran a # 4 line to the blower and a # 8 away if you do it this way make sure where you run the oil in to it has the little jet in it to control how much oil it lets in if you don't have it call whipple and get one and when you screw it in may sure it does not touch the gears in the blower i ran in to this on a 3.3 quad set up last summer

Using engine oil with internal spray bars works better, I'm changing oil at 20 hour intervals anyway.

So what is better to have the oil from the blower to go to oil pan or back to the valve cover and does any one have any pic of the oil line fitting in the pan or the valve cover????

PSE superchargers in CA. www.pse.us The oil level in the SC units would drop after running for an hour or so. I pulled the intercooler to check and found traces of oil from unit was being sucked into the engine. I think that the lack of ventilation in the SC units contributes to this problem. I am going with internal spray bars and using engine oil to lubricate the sc unit.

What is the reason for pluming oil thru it?
Is there a benefit for it?
They didn't offer it to me on mine
