Default #6's or Bravo style drives?

I am about to put together a 36 Daytona with 700-800HP. I want to be very dependable. I know I will lose some ponies turning the #6's (anyone know how much?) but I think they should be bulletproof. If IMCO SC's or others will stay together I would rather run them but I don't want to regret it later.

#5's will hold up no problem and you can get em a lot cheaper than the 6's. you wont hurt em with 800hp alot of guys are putting 1000-1100hp through em. plus you dont have to go through a #5 as often as a #6

Bravos are only dependable @ 700hp tops, do your self a favor and go with dry sump # 6s.
We run Max Machine on our 850hp Gun and as easy as we are on the sticks we can count on being stranded a few times a summer, or every 15 to 40hrs and they use the strongest parts available.
The internals are just to small to consistently handle bigger power. It will work, but not for long. Good Luck!

do you have an arm and a testicle to spend? if you go #5 or #6 parts can be found cheaper and there are good used components for these drives avail. there a few sets of used fives and sixes for sale in the classifieds/swap shop
