i have bw 72c's in my 35ft mistress, they have the extra plate deal done to them and i was told that they are good for 1100hp. is this true? im running #3 drives with a 1.5 to 1 ratio and will be putting 1000hp blower engines in this winter. i want to install bigger trans with the motors if the 72c's aren't going to hold up. thx for any advice, ratman

Depends on a bunch of things. Number of plates and plate material are 2 to start with. Do you have any paperwork or list of parts put in them? If you don't, who knows whats inside for parts or if they will handle extra HP.
