60-65 lbs make sure to use sealant on the intake studs sometimes they go into the port.

Talking Re: Crane Rocker Studs

Nope, he's not. He is talking about the rocker arm studs in the cylinder head. If you look close some of the threads go into the intake runner of the head. It may only be 2 but you should do them all the same way.

I've always used Permatex High Temperature Thread Sealant with teflon. Seems to do the trick.

ARP studs we torque to 60 ft lbs. The ARP thread sealer works well and usually only has to be installed on the intake studs , but sometimes with aftermarket heads the bolt holes are drilled to deep. You should check and make certain they are "blind" on the exhaust . Permatex 3-H sealer also wprks well. Loctite should NEVER be used internally on an engine! Threads are designed a specific way for a reason...To Fasten.

Are you guys talking about 7/16 or 3/8 studs??????

I know mine are 3/8 bottom and 7/16 top and the ARP directions said like 40 or 45lbs. I used red locktite.
