I swear by the Crane lifters....I put over 500 hrs. on the same set and the motors were stock HP 500's converted to 1071 blower motors and ran flawless. Just took them out and changed for peace of mind and they were perfect

I think GG10 is not the only person who would like to have the phone number or some kind of contact info for Morel.

Bob,

Excuse my ignorance, but just what do you mean by a "Tier 1" company? Are these guys locked away in a development facility with no communications to the outside world? :D :D

Morel has been in busines for over 65+ years. Their customers are OEM suppliers. They don't have a website nor do they advertise. They make product for cam companies and other HP companies that order year long blanket orders. Bob has a unique relationship with them as he has done testing for them so he can get the lifters. Any questions you have can be directed at Bob.

Re: Marine Specific Lifters?

Hi, new to this, I would like info and price on a set of hydr rollers, I have been running cranes for some time, havent had failure but offly close, specs, comp 935 spring instl 1.970", 175# seat , 475#@1.280" after break in. Crane cam, 264/272 with .400 lobe. current rpm5500-5700, heavy valve gear, stainless intake150g, alloy exhaust 130g, steel retainer and locks, crower ss rockers. Lifter valley spray bar, 150-200 hrs a season, poker run & fun boat.If water is right have run for extend wot, 30 miles. I think I am at limit of the crane's and am looking for a better hyd roll lifter. I have talked to the marine guy at crane about a larger lifter, he said they are playing with one for merc but still R&d. If this morrel is a better product I would like to try or at least look at. What brand do they sell under? Woul like to investigate a better lifter and possible lighting up valve gear, maybe run rpms to 6000. I belive I am directing ? to rpm/Bob, thanks gg10

As promised here are photos of the newly upgraded Morel Marine link bar/button. Morel is constantly transfering technology from their race programs to the entire product line and I would look forword to more significant developments in the coming months. The redesign is the second image.

What is the significant difference(s) between the Morel and the Crane roller lifter?
