Default 500 HP EFI Manifold Value

What is the approximate value of a 500 HP intake manifold. I am looking to purchase one soon.

Is the harness the same for all EFI engines?

Where can I get new or used harnesses?

Thank you,

Kirk

Are you looking for the carburated manifold, IE DART or the EFI manifold?

Kirk,
I'm looking to convert my Merc 502MagMPI to an HP500EFI at some point so I have learned a few things along the way...
I have seen the AZ Speed intakes off HP500EFIs for $800 and up depending upon what other goodies are included.
You will need the throttle body, fuel rail, and injectors as they are all different from the Merc unit as well.
The harness and ECU from your Merc setup will work but it has been recommended to me to use a MFEI-3 or 4.
My 1997 Merc has a MFEI-1, you may already have a 3 if your Merc is newer.
The best place to fine this stuff are the guys that have converted their 500EFIs to blower motors. Check with Strippoker, he has helped me out with parts...
Good luck,

I have a couple of extra intakes and plenums. One intake is for rect port heads and the other is for the large oval port heads. the oval port is new from AZ Speed and Marine. I also have a large dia ASM throttle body and an extra MEFI 3 computer and a new MEFI 4 computer. Let me know if I can help with any parts.

I also meed a MEFI 3 harness.

I am definately interested. What are you asking for the intake for teh oval port heads. I think the next engine will have Brodix heads.

I'd also need the throttle body, rail and prefer a MEFI 3 computer.
Please Email me at [email protected]

thanks

For what you are wanting to do you could go with an aftermarket setup. Several company's make complete retrofit kits with programable ECU's. I have the Holley MPI kit.
