Update. PSE seems to be on top of it, but I'll NEVER do business with Whipple again. Seems that there are a few Whipples out there (mine being one of them) that were reconditioned and sold as new. Mine had non-original seals in it even though I bought it new, installed it myself, and had literally hundreds of hours on it.
PSE is having to have seals custom made to fit the non original dimensions of the sealing surfaces. No more money for the rebuild, but it's another two weeks to wait for the replacement seals. They will stock them from now on since the've seen several with the same problem. As these things wear, I'm sure they'll see more.
If you have a Whipple that uses oil, talk to PSE Superchargers, they're developing a correct fix.
Mr. Whipple can squeeze my Charmin...

Another update -
Just got my supercharger back from PSE and I am VERY pleased with the results. Although delayed to get the seal issue resolved, the supercharger came back well packaged, clean, and obviously cared for. It seems to turn more smoothly and run quieter than when it was new.
I hope I never have to, but I'd use PSE's services again without hesitation.
