crazy wiring probloms, oh no!!!!

i replaced my gauges this winter with new gaffrig ones and disassembled the dash with all the switches so i could paint the dash. there are so many wires under there, and its a mess. i have all of these rocker switches on the dash and i am getting 8 volts from my ground wire on my meter. i think i have an + on the wrong lug on one of my switches and since the grounds are all linked togather its back feeding 8 volts. my question is does any one have a diagram for the rocker switches? showing what wire clips to what lug on the back of the switch. they are very popular swichtes and they came factory on older boats. the only other thing i could think of is that i had the engine out over the winter and mybe a ground is not connected and making things go nuts.
here is a pic of the switches, sorry i know its hard to see them

check for good grounds. then voltage. as to see if you replaced a wire on the wrong terminal. for the most part center pole is hot and the outer is power to accesorie.
then if that doesnt work,,,, take out your cutting pliers.
just kidding
take your time look at it for a while and youll figure it out.
good luck.

if you dont have it grounded power will show up on the ground side....if when you ran that ground to the daisy chain straight from ground and nothing acted funny then most likely everything is ok...you just need to find where you dont have the ground hooked up. If you did have power hooked up to the ground side then when you hooked up that ground straight form the battery it would have blown a fuse or made something act goofy/overheat/short etc....
