Getting acurate speed readings for comparison is difficult. Being a long single engine boat it is very weight sensitive, along with wave conditions etc. So speed can vary from day to day.

My best speed before the Whipple was 82. Now with the Whipple I have hit 89. I just needed more seat time to figure out what the boat needs. I can probably squeeze out 2 mph more with some more fine tuning. All in all, I'm happy, 89 mph is very fast and a blast in this boat!!
