Default oil filter pad adapter

I am thinking about upgrading my 500 hps with larger oil lines and would replace the adapter omn the block that sits where the oil filter ussually does and cppreformance has a nice looking on with the oil line exiting the side versus the bottom this would alos clean up the plumbing a bit
Anyone have a suggestion on these or anothe rmfg.

I just installed a system from Hardin Marine. I used 3/4" pipe fittings and -12 AN lines. So far, its works great.

A quality piece.

I just just completed the install of a complete Hardin Marine oil system upgrade. I used a thermostatically controlled combo cooler, new filter head and block adapter from them. All parts appear to be of superior quality! The block adapter is actually a piece from Keith Eickert. I will be priming and running the engine tomorrow for the first time this season. Can post pics but my install looks alot like checkmate454mags. Good luck!

Anythings better than stock merc, just don't buy anything thats cast aluminum vs billet as it will crack and you should use -12 hose and fittings so that your tightest/smallest restriction is at least 1/2 inch,Smitty
