I'm getting small rubber pieces on the fiberglass in front of the engine, well I saw that my belt was a little loose. So I changed my belt checked all pulley's making sure they spun freely, I put the belt back on and tightened up. First time out opened hatch after a run, small dusting like before??? What could be-causing this, belts good and tight do I need to tighten some more? Were the belt crosses the water pump could the belts slap each other since there's a small clearance there?

I assumed that was just normal, a little belt dust around the front of the engine. Last year when I installed my whipple I noticed it and cleaned it all up. Checked the original belt thourougly and reinstalled it. Still a little black dust but not as much as when it was new. I figured this was due to a new belt setting into the pulleys.

Yup same here. After a long weekend I always get the dusting on both sides.

Normal, just clean the mess
