I just installed a Sony CD/DVD head unit that I love, plus it has yet to skip while running. 3 preouts, (front L&R, rear L&R, sub) video out, aux audio in. XM ready, Dual Zone also. Sony Mex-R5. I think I paid right around $250

I think where the quality sounds comes from the most is in the amp more then anything else.
the speakers make the largest difference in any system.
