OK - Got one that will not go full timing at first - baby the throttle and it'll finally go full advance and run up. Disconnected the knock sensor - still same thing. I don't do a lot of work on small blocks, especially carb motors with knock modules - so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Is it common if a knock module is failing to only increase the timing in steps - say every 4 seconds or so? Anyone that's worked this scenario would be familiar - so give me your 2 cents!
