Did you use a drive alignment tool ??? If not use one of those before you go crazy.. My guess is the bearing may be out of alignment...

Yes I am using one and that's how I've come to this conlusion. The engine is low in the back.
I bought new fiber washers, coil lock springs and spacers. Can I double up the fiber washers?

If I'm not mistaken the transom plate has an adjustment in it. Was this removed ? By the looks on the transom plate all the holes are ob-longed up and down.

Did you try raising the front of the motor?Remember the motor will pivot on the rear mounts, raise the front to lower the rear.

Did you try taping the alignment tool side to side and up and down to center gimble bearings?

When you say you R&R'd the bell housing, do you mean you installed a new one?

There are two different style motor mount bushings in the bell housing. Do you have the right one?
88791A1 and 865329A02
This will effect the alignment.

Transom plate was not removed, however I did change the bolts and nuts one by one, no movement though.

I'm going to lift the rear now with a picker, I'll post what I find in a bit.
