procharger idle problem
502 with procharger will not idle properly, 1500rpm and above is smooth as silk. Arizona speed programmed ecu and want 50 p of fuel pressure. they say cold start or choking is controlled thru the pulses in the injectors and is also programmed for the cold thermo or no thermo as procharger recommends. BUT MY QUESTIONS IS could that much pressure on 52 pd injectors be pushing to much fuel and causing it to load up. procharger says 32pd of pressure at idle. Arizona speed says 50pd control with pulses?
just so you know: idle position sensor good
idle air good
vacuum lines good
timing is good
1500 rpm up runs like a jet & smooth as silk
please help stuball

Re: procharger idle problem
I have a modified 454 Mag with ProCharged M3SC and 7lbs boost. I don't know the specifics of the build in your motor, but I also had Arizona Speed and Marind remap my ECM. We have initial fuel pressure at 36. The additional fuel pressure could be a problem. ProCharger recomends 36 if I remember and my builder wanted a 750 to 800 RPM at idle I run 800.
