Default Flo-Torq II whacker?

So, when removing a Flo-Torq II hub kit I'm thinking you find a socket the right size and just whack it a few times and it'll drop out? Is this right? Any other suggestions?

Sure, that'll work. They usually come out easily.

Will this method work with the steel one? Or do I need to have it pressed out? Seems mine is loose for some reason.
