Lak, my bad on Eric Betty's phone number in Nashville. Its 615 714 2944. He is great and there is no one in Knoxville even close. The Oak Ridge guy moved or got run out of town about a year ago. Eric's shop is on the east side of Nashville and I can make it there in about 2hours 45 minutes from Knoxville.
Eric has great experience and is somewhat of a perfectionist. Just the kind of guy I want working on my stuff. He changed my cat from a Merc 525/Bravo to a Crockett 565 Whipple, 5" exhaust , dual steering, Max Machine upper and IMCO lower. It was a complete rerig. Everything worked perfectly...now if I could just find a drive that would hold up. But Eric's part was done exactly right. Quent

You may also conside a merc creat motor or merc rebuilt?By the time you tear one down and rebuild again it might be close to what a new one cost.I have a buddy with a old scarab and he found a 65 hou2001 415 mpi for 5000 installed.just a idear????
