I'd pop the prop shaft out (it takes about 5 minutes) and look at the lower gears and I'd at least pull the shifter cap and look at the upper gears. For the cost of a merc prop shaft tool (about 75$),a borrowed fine graduated inch lbs tq wrench and a 12$ load ring you would know if your gears are going away or not in less than a hour. The rest of the o-rings should be re-usable if drive is only 1 or 2 years old,Smitty

99% of the time you don't need to replace the load ring......

Looks very familiar - seems like bravos like to make some metal. I would run it and change the oil every 25 hrs. See what you get. I have seen much worse without a problem. How many hours since the last change?

Had the same thing on a left turning 1X drive. Time to rebuild or replace.

Which way did your's turn (left or right)?

you had air in the drive, refill drive slowly from the bottom as you pump turn the prop with the other hand pump 3 times and turn prop slow 6 times it should take you 15 min to fill the drive, youll be fine
