Yes, the ITS tool can be used on both and can help "visualize" the alignment. You can tell which direction the alignment is off by sliding the internal shaft into the coupler and leaving out the outer slide, look at the clearances between the shaft and the bearing while moving the engine.

heres a dim drawing of the tool for both Alpha and bravo.....i got this off of here some time ago..made a few and they work just fine....i also included an update for the alpha side if you need it for the genII drives...

Hey 25, is that a drive stand in the photo of the finished alignment tool? If so, can you post a picture of it assembled?
I have built two different ones. Both work ok, but I would like to make them more user friendly.
