the tool will fit the trs drives.......but theres another piece you still need for it to work....theres a plate that fits on the tool and sits flat against the bell houseing that the outdrive bolts up to....you align the engine so the plate sits flat on the bell housing

I would like to know if you still have alignment tools available? If you do please E-mail me at [email protected] I am fairly sure I have an upper pinion seal leaking and now would be the time to check alignment. sincerely Bill Crum

is there a difference in alignment tool for a regular coupler and a heavy duty coupler?
I have a merc alignment tool thats about 12 years old and Iam not having any luck getting to go in the heavy duty coupler.
the outdrive slides in with no problem.

There was a modification for the old tool.
Give me your email and I can shoot you the tool modification sheet/picture with measurements.
