Default Fuel Pressure Regulator

Anyone have a source for an adjustable fuel pressure regulator kit for a late model GenVI 502 with cool fuel? The late models have the regulator bolted to the fuel pump in the cool fuel box, rather than a regulator on the end of the fuel rail.

I see that Hardin and Eckart have them for earlier model cool fuel setups.

Thanks.

If the Cool Fuel box is the same as the late model 496HO, which I thnik it is, then the Vortech 8F130-018 fuel pressure optimizer will do the job. You have to whittle the plastic cool fuel enclosure some to provide the necessary additional clearance for the optimizer and cut the top off the existing fuel pressure regulator per the kit instructions. It works like a champ and comes in colors.

I installed one on my cool fuel setup. I bought it from Arizona Speed and Marine but I have seen the same regulator kit available from several different sources.
It is not really a new replacement regulator. It is an adjustable retro kit that you install on the existing regulator. It is fairly easy to do and works well.

What PSI you adjust for a 502EFI with pressure regulator in the fuelrail, no cool fuel. Have you test it with air fuel ratio gaug ??
