It is quite outstanding as I have seen them used in drag cars locally.

The most outstanding benefit of a Stainless Steel Controlled Pore size filter is much imporved "first pass" filtration without pressure buildup vs. conventional filter media.

The racing pros toss it in a drum parts cleaner for an hour or so.

Cleaning is not a breeze and I know a guy who buys a new filter rather than clean it. (He has $$).

Hope that helps.

Thanks.
Sounds like cleaning is not so easy. I looked through the Pure Power web site and could not find a cleaning instruction.
But I guess the filter is fine if it is used by racing pros.

Sorry for asking so many questions about cleaning. I am just concerned whether is difficult to clean them properly and how long time it takes.
How long time do you spend cleaning them ?
And I guess they have to be dry before you can refit them ?
Is it easy to see that they have been cleaned properly ?

Re: Anybody using Pure Power oil filter ?

5 min. from the time i touch the filter to the time its back on unless i find something to make me stop and inspect closer also i do not use any water so i just coat the threads and oring with a little 25/50 v-twin sinth. and spin together
