Re: best exhaust manifolds
I purchased the Stainless Marine from Fred at Trick. He had an excellent price on them at the time. I was on a tight time frame, as I was also installing a full hydraulic steering system simultaneously. The units shipped to me promptly, and no issues, or big surprises.
You can buy some other brands cheaper, IE: Revolution Marine. But, once you add in all the additional brackets for the fuel injection motors, it is not a huge price swing. Especially, when you factor in they have cast aluminum risers, and not Stainless Steel.

I mounted my filter on the hull. Just made a new oil line and mover it to the side. Better mounted off the engine in think. In fact i have pretty much moved everything i can off the engine, Less heat and viberation on the hull. Jas

Re: best exhaust manifolds
I believe Lofty has hit the nail on the head for those of us with side by side twin installs. The first time I changed plugs on a side by side twin with Gils it took me over an hour per engine and I had about 3 ideas for special tools to help make it easier after I was done. Maybe the mechs on this site can give us some pointers. My .02

8 year old thread. you are better off sending a pm to somebody than expecting them to re-read an old thread to see if somebody is trying to get hold of them. Even if they dropped off OSO completely, they probably still have the same email address.

Post in wanted. Nobody wants to read 7 pages of 8 year old thread to see what you are looking for. Also search the swap shop. By the way. Welcome aboard. But please start a new thread instead of resurrecting extinct threads.
