Yep. Some think bravos are the answer because they are newer, but some boats just run better with trs. Like a Cig cafe, they ride and land so much better with trs. I may have to pass on this boat, as much as I like it, I dont want to get into custom rigging, mounts, reglassing transoms, etc. But thanks for the help! :drink:

Since you've already got a down angle, full power reverse tranny (twin disc 502?), a better choice might be a pair of inline ASD6s. Used ones can be found at good prices and parts for the ASDs are MUCH easier to find than Kaamas. That conversion would be cheaper and more reliable than TRS or bravo conversion.
BTW, what kind of boat?

You can change the rotation of a Twin Disc 502 by just turning over one lever.

How do you figure that? All the gears, bearings, bushings, etc are available over the counter. The only thing that's hard to find is the boot, and the case.

Wow, old post.
But you are correct. I was referring to the boots. And for the less "experienced" boater, it's easier to call Arneson than it is to search for a Kamma part.
