I'd start the offer at half. You can always raise your offer. Eventualy the owner is gonna want out from under it. Or you may catch him at a time when he could use the coin.

Anybody know what octane those engines need? If its race fuel - forget it. If I were to buy it, I would sell the engines and drives and go with desiels. Or would those drives (#3s) be ok with desiels?

Oh, its in the low 80's here in the Fort - its killing me not to be on a boat today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your imput guys! Mark

If Marc McManis re-rigged and went over this boat - I would think it is OK?

Thank you!

I'm no fortune teller but I'm willing to guess that your going to want to sell it at some point - get it??

Buy something else....

800SC's require a minimum of 92 Octane. They are 572 CI engines with B&M 420 blowers at 8# of boost.

Yeah, it was an interesting idea to buy it. It was fun getting feedback on it! Thanks guys!

My first choice is a 1998 or newer 382 fastec. Can't go wrong with that boat - for my needs. Sure wish Cigarette had a cabin like a Formula - there would already be one out back!
