One week ago I purchased a 98 model 342 baja with 7.4 L MPI. They are nots mags. 330 hp only.
Drives are
Bravo one 1.50 ratio. The drives also have an "F" after the ratio. Serial numbers are OL260537 and OL 259833. I have no idea what HP these drives can handle and am planning to repower the boats even though the engines are strong and relatively low hours. Not enough speed. Anyway to find out just what these drives will handle? Is there a website I can visit and check these serial numbers out?
My other two boats have alpha drives and inboard so I am not familiar with the Bravo one.
Is there anywhere I can purchase motors these drives would handle at decent prices? I would be interested in Remans if they are done properly. It seems to me these drives should accomodate 425 HP. Am I wrong?
