Default Replacing power steering high pressure hose

Have to replace my high pressure hose from the power steering pump to the helm unit. Mine is Volvo, but I think the Merc units are essentially the same.

Question is: Is there any trick or special procedure to bleed air from the system once the new connections are made? I think all thats required is to keep filling the pump, run the engine, turn the uunit from side to side, check, refill, and keep doing it until the air "bubbles" are gone and the level stops going down. Is this correc and/or is there anything else I need to do?

Going to do this tomorrow....any quick help is appreciated.

The way you described will work fine. Power steering pumps are self bleeding. You should not have any problem doing it.
