Default Issue with my 525's

I have twin 525's. Over the winter I removed the mufflers from my exhaust and converted them to dry pipes...should be no big deal. But when I run the boat now after it warms up the motors go searching, jumping from 500 rpm's to 1000 rpm's when it's idling. I did not change anything other than the exhaust and both motors are doing it. Would it change the way the motors runs by eliminating the back pressure created by the mufflers? Someone said I might need to adjust my throttle position sensor?

Does anyone have or know where I can get the number to the x site or to mercury racing? I didn't put any fuel additives in and I've burned through a couple tanks of gas so I know its not bad gas.
